Abstract
Researches the taxonomic validity of Coreopsis tinctoria and C. cardaminefolia as distinct species. The two species overlap morphologically in almost all characters measure and the chromosome numbers are the same. Therefore, the authors redefine C. tinctoria to include C. cardaminefolia.
